Team sports are an amazing thing, yet often times clubs and coaches simply do not have the time, nor resources, to offer each athlete the individualized attention they deserve in order to maximize their potential and strengthen their growth areas. In our 1-on-1 skills training we dedicate each session to the specific needs of the athlete we are working with. Based on the plan we have collaboratively created with our athletes and coaches, you can expect to experience a wide variety of game-like simulations, specific drills to help develop different skills and techniques, as well as speed and agility training, injury prevention, and strength exercises.
Ultimately, each session will be specific to the needs of our athletes and will address their growth areas with a well-rounded training regimen created to give special attention to the small details that might slip through the cracks in larger training settings!
Is group training better than individual training? Well, that depends on your needs and goals! With our small group skills training of 2 to 6 players, you can expect to experience a wide array of game-like scenarios in which the players have the ability to work off of each other the same way they would in a game. The difference between this and team training is that with fewer numbers, our coaches have the ability to watch each player closely, critique and adjust technique, and focus on the smaller details that will make the largest difference when the game is on the line.
They say soccer is a game of inches, which means honing in on those precise elements of each movement will help our athletes create an edge that will boost them from being a good player, to a great player. In our small group sessions players will experience holistic, well-rounded training that invites them to try new skills, make mistakes and adapt, all while challenging themselves mentally and physically in a group environment.
Often times teams may benefit from a brief change in environment, and that's where we come in! Aspire Athletics is offering full team skills sessions in which we observe and asses your team training as it is currently run, consult with the coach regarding team goals and needs, then put the team through a training session that we have tailored specifically to you.
In our full team skills training, your team can expect to experience each of our services that will offer the ultimate brain•body•balance experience. We will implement aspects of sports psychology and skills training, along with strength and speed work to launch each team in the direction of their goals.
